Kailash "kailo" as we knew him was the closest imitation you could find to the late master Padmashri Mohammed Rafi. Kailash was born and raised in Ramai Trace, Debe, Trinidad. he travelled throught the world performing the golden melodies of Rafi sahb. In 1996 Kailash plumeted to the top by winning the prestigeous "Mastana Bahar" grand finals in Trinidad. The first prize was a deluxe family car. He has now passed on to greated heights joining his maker and friends like the great Sundar Popo in heaven. May his soul rest in peace. He was a close family friend and a brother to us. He has also performed with the Florida Melody Makers here on several occasions.
