It was a night that lovers of local dance will never forget as Michael Salickram captivated the hearts of all present. Michael Salickram and his Clico Shiv Shakti Dancers demonstrated their dancing skills as never before witnessed on local stage. Those who missed out will certainly live to regret not being at the Centre of excellence.

There were also superb performances by the Minocha Brothers, Khamrune Ali, Neil Persad who continues to garner quite a following, Professor Dev Bansraj Ramkissoon and The D Rampersad Indian Art Orchestra led by Teddy Bissambhar.

The most significant moment was the presentation of an appreciation award to Michael Salickram by former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday, for his contribution of twenty glorious years in Dance. For those who missed out, here is a glimpse of the action filled night.
