Mala "Chutney" Samaroo as she is known in south Florida is one of the most gifted singers you will find. Blessed with the voice of Shamshaad Begum, she can also hit notes in the high "F",s  with her piercing, Debe, chutney voice. Born in Debe Trinidad, she has performed with the Guyatones Band, The DRampersad Orchestra, Acme Dil E Nadaan and Soor Sangeet Orchestra led by her brother Alan Sinannan. Mala has also won several singing competitions and is currently recording her first Solo CD. Mala is the lead female singer for the FMM and she is also a founding member of the band. Lookout for Mala in 2001, she is making waves all over the place!
